Going Bonkers

Yes, the boys are officially driving me crazy. No really it's just a place we went on Friday. Nanna and papa have been in town this week and Friday was our playdate. Nanna, the boys and I went to go play. This place is a lot of fun for adults too. Cameron loves it as you can see.

After naps that day we went to the pumpkin patch for the second time this year. We were smart and got pictures first and then played. Cameron really loves to jump even though he doesn't get off the ground. Hudson loves being along for the ride.

Little Firemen

Today, the fam went to the Flower Mound Fire Station Open House. Cameron was so excited to get to go see firetrucks 'AKA' "Rrraa .. Rrraa." The spelling doesn't do the sound he makes justice. He was making the siren noise all the way to the fire station. Of course when we got there he was completely silent. He got to climb up in the firetrucks and an ambulance. The best part was he got his very own helmet which was worn almost the rest of the day. Hudson even showed his support for the brave firefighters.

Cabin Fever

This week was extremely long. The boys and I had been stuck in the house from Sunday afternoon until Friday morning when we went to Walmart. Who know going to Walmart could be so much fun! Cameron was sick with ear infections in both ears and a stomach bug. Yuck! Dan and I had to clean some of the carpets this weekend because baby puke isn't a smell you want to stick around for awhile. Cameron went to the doctor on Tuesday, got a shot and meds, and is feeling much better.

Poor Hudson was congested this week we believe due to the weather change/allergies. He also suffered from a lack of attention because his older brother was monopolizing most of his mommy's time. The two boys are now back to some sort of normalcy and still are as cute as can be. Enjoy the pictures from bath and bedtime this past week.

Pumpkin Patch

On Saturday morning, Grammy and Grandpa Curt came over to go to the pumpkin patch with us. We all had a lot of fun. Cameron had fun bouncing in the bounce houses. We had trouble getting him out to take pictures. As you can see he wouldn't smile in any of the pictures. All he wanted to do was play. A few of these pictures are from Grandpa Curt's website but he took a lot more. Check them out. There's also a folder on the left with more pictures we took. They are still cute even if neither one of my boys would smile.

3 months old!

Boy does time fly! Hudson is 3 months old today and Cameron will be two at the end of the month. The two of them definitely keep me busy or should I say 3 of them, counting Dan.

Hudson is doing great! I haven't weighed him lately because I really don't want to know how much weight I'm lugging around all the time. Maybe if I stay in denial, he won't seem as big as he actually is. He's sleeping in a 6-9 month sleeper right now. He's sleeping through the night except on a rare occassion which is good for me. He's getting better with using his hands. He can actually grasp objects that he sees on purpose and shove his thumb in his mouth as you can see. It's cute now, but hopefully he'll grow out of it as he gets older.

Fun at the Park

On Tuesday and Thursday, Dan goes to work later so sometimes in the mornings we have time to take Cameron to the park. There is a park in a neighborhood close to us that we usually go to. Cameron loves to climb through the tunnels and slide down the slides. He also likes to yell at us that he is stuck. Of course he's just pretending. What an imagination he has already! Maybe he's doing it to see if Dan or I will actually get stuck when we try to come help him. He's growing up so quickly!

My Little, Big Boy #1

Dan and I are so proud of Cameron! I think a parent is the only person in the world who could get excited over poop. Yes, I said it. I've been working with Cameron all week with not a whole lot of success until today. He told me he need to go "poo-poo." I couldn't take him since I was rocking Hudson to sleep so Dan got the honor. Dan ran him to the toilet and Cameron sat up there and actually went. YEAH!

Don't worry this is the picture after he went, not during. He's pouting because he didn't immediately get his sucker. Anytime he goes on the toilet we are rewarding him with treats for the time being. As you can see he has graduated to pull ups during the day. He's decided himself that he no longer wants to wear diapers. Newsflash, pull ups are diapers. Just don't tell him that. Hopefully we made a big enough deal about him going that he'll continue to want to do it!
