Christmas with Grammy and Papa Curt

On Saturday we celebrated Christmas with Grammy, Grandpa Curt, Aunt Emily, and Uncle Drew. You wouldn't believe the amount of presents they brought with them. Cameron loved every second of it. He had the unwrapping down to a science. He would unwrap the present and then stick it in his pile if it was something he really liked. If it was something he wasn't as excited about it, it went into Hudson's pile. Several of Hudson's presents ended up in his pile too.

Curt gave us a website on Saturday that already has pictures uploaded on it. The video section is a work in progress so please be patient. Go check it out. www.danbecky.com

Papa Campbell

On Thursday, Papa C came to see us because he was in town for business. He hadn't seen the boys in 2 months. It's amazing how much they change in a short period of time. Cameron was very excited to see Papa and play cars with him. Hudson was excited too.

We're on a Roll!

Today, Hudson decided he was finally ready to roll over. He's been rolling alot, but never completely over. He'd roll from his back to his side and back. He'd even roll from his back to his stomach, but wouldn't finish it because he didn't want to lay on his tummy. Well today he decided to go all the way and I took a few pics after he did it. He celebrated by spitting. You'll see the string in the pictures.

Reindeer Food

On Saturday we made reindeer food. This food is to help Santa's reindeer spot your house and give them a tasty treat to snack on while Santa puts your presents under the tree. On Sunday Cameron sprinkled it in our front yard. Hopefully the squirrels don't eat it all before Christmas Eve!

Santa Baby

This weekend we went to Christmas in Parker Square despite the windstorm. We were hoping to get some pictures with Santa. When we saw Santa the week before, Cameron loved him. So we were hoping he would love this one too, but we had no such luck. We tried everything imaginable to get him to take a picture, but he clung to me with all his might. However we got a good shot of Hudson. Afterall it's his first Christmas.

While there we did some of the activities, like ride the train, make reindeer food, watch car races, and draw on tiles. Cameron loved it, especially getting to watch the cars race because he so obsessed with the movie Cars.

Yummy cookies

Last week Cameron and I made sugar cookies. Or should I say, I bought the dough and rolled it out and we used christmas cookie cutters. I then let Cameron pour sprinkles all over them. What a mess! The cookies weren't pretty and it was very hard to tell what the shape was suppose to be, but they were obviously edible.

The tree is up

On Saturday after naps, we got the tree decorated. Cameron was a great helper. Of course we had to move the ornaments after he put them on the tree. Mostly because he liked to put them all in the same place instead of spreading them out. Hudson watched and yelled the whole time wishing he was mobile enough to join in on the fun.

Gaylord

No I'm not talking about "Meet the Parents", but the amazing hotel that's just down the street from us. In the past 3 years we've lived here, Dan and I had never been til today. We took the boys to see the Christmas decorations, not that Hudson was paying attention because he slept most of the time. They had lots of trains which Cameron absolutely loved and a life size gingerbread house, YUMMY! We went to see Santa thinking Cameron would cry like last year, but he ran right up to him and started barking out his Christmas list. Sorry there's no pictures of that. We didn't want to pay $15 for one when we'll see Santa again next weekend and get one for a lot less. We had a great time and plan to make this a family tradition!

5 months old

Another month has flown by and Hudson is 5 months old. This month he has learned to laugh at things when he thinks they are funny , particularly he's brother. He's starting to scoot more. He's discovered his toes. He has started eating veggies as of yesterday.
Today we put up the tree in Cameron's room and Hudson had fun watching and laughing. Cameron and I weren't quite sure what we did that was so funny.

Thanksgiving

On Wednesday we packed up the van with a ton of stuff because you never know what you may need with two kids and headed up to Tulsa to spend Thanksgiving with Dan's family. We had lots of fun, food and good times. The best part was getting to watch Dan's grandparents who are 90 and 91 get to hold their great grandchildren. More pictures of the trip and this past month will be in the November folder on the left.
