First Easter Egg Hunt of Many

On Saturday, March 27th we participated in our first Easter Egg Hunt out of 3 to happen this year. We got there early so the boys enjoyed playing at the park while waiting for the festivities to be set up. While we were waiting we went to meet Mr. & Mrs. Easter Bunny. Surprisingly, neither of the boys were the least bit scared, probably because they were going to get candy. As you can see, Hudson only cared about that and not looking up for the photo op. After seeing the bunny we got ready to hunt eggs. Hudson was on one field with ages 0-2 with Dan while I went to another field with Cameron for ages 3-4. To signal it was time to start a firetruck blew it's horn and the boys were off. Cameron got to hunt with his "best friend" Emma (that's what he called her today) and his friend Ryan. On Cameron's field that had candy scattered everywhere. I kept trying to get Cameron to pick up the good stuff and all he wanted was the dum-dums. Dan said Hudson got of to a slow start after the horn but quickly figured out what to do. He filled his bucket up, partly by snatching eggs before the slower kids could get to him. Dan said he dominated and that his toy story bucket was the envy of his age group. The boys had so much fun hunting eggs and being with their friends. They were even more excited to dig into the candy they had collected.

The next day the boys dyed their Easter eggs. They had so much fun dropping the eggs in the dye and mixing colors. Hudson had to take his clothes off to get in on the action. There are pictures in the folder on the right of all the Easter festivities.

Kidnapping Daddy

Last Tuesday, we ran errands and decided to go kidnap Daddy for lunch. We went and got him and went to eat at Chick-fil-a. The boys were so excited to see their Daddy during the day. When we were finished, we went back to Dan's office to see his coworkers and go through the revolving doors. The boys had a lot of fun seeing daddy's office and meeting his coworkers. Then we headed home to let daddy get back to work. After naps, the boys went out to play and enjoy the beautiful day. They boy kept play fighting to see who was going to be king of the climber.

Spring Break

We spent most of last week in the house because the boys and I are were sick. So this week it was nice to have a beautiful week to play outside. On Friday, I had a dr. appointment and Grammy came over to watch the boys for me. After the appointment we went to eat and then to play at Kid's Kastle. It was so busy. I've never seen so many people there before. We played at the little kids playground because of that. Hudson showed off his skills of sliding all by himself. Cameron showed Grammy how good of a climber he is. The boys had so much fun spending the day with Grammy and enjoying the beautiful weather.

First Day at the Park!

Last Saturday, we got to go to the park for the first time. The boys were so excited to be out of the house and to get to run free. Hudson did a great job climbing and sliding all by himself. He's getting to be so big. The two of them climbed like monkeys and ran all over the place. They both didn't want to leave.

Cool Rider

So while Nana was here, I took the boys to the mall and bought them sunglasses. They love their new shades. Cameron will tell me if it's a good day for him to wear them or not everytime we leave the house. So I got a few pictures of my cool riders when we drove to Arlington to go to church with Grammy and Papa Curt.
