Wagon Ride

Yesterday, I took the boys on a wagon ride around the neighborhood. Half way through, Hudson attempted to climb out while the wagon was moving and I ended up dropping my camera to keep him from falling out. Now the camera is broke; it works, but there's a blurry spot in all of the pictures now. Needless to say there won't be many pics until I get a new camera. On a good note, the boys had a great time.

Park playtime

On Saturday we went to the park to play. Hudson and Cameron quickly made friends like they do everywhere they go. Hudson learned to slide on the big slide without any help and they both got to spin on the spinner (not sure what its called). Cameron showed Dan how he can swing on the big swing by himself. As always Cameron didn't want to leave when it was time go, but Hudson started running to the car because he was worn out.

Big boy

Hudson turns 15 months on Friday. He doesn't look like a baby anymore; instead he looks like a little boy. He wants to be one too just like his brother. He climbs on to everything, wants to be able to eat at the table with everyone else, and always need utensils if everyone else has one. Every day after his nap, he eats his snack at the little table. Before I know it, I'm going to have two big boys.

Toons in mommy's bed

We went to rent a movie from blockbuster and the boys picked Lion King 1 1/2. I let them curl up in my bed to watch it while I was doing laundry. Needless to say, they didn't watch the movie for long. Instead they decided to use my bed as a trampoline and wrestling ring.

Perfect Day

Yesterday was a great day. We woke up late and layed around lazily in bed watching cartoons with the boys. Then we got up, cleaned up, and went to Chicken Express for lunch. Yumm! After lunch, we went to Kid's Kastle to play. Just like last time Hudson spent most of his time on the suspension bridge while Cameron played in the castle area and loved showing off that he could climb ladders all by himself. Next, we went home for naps and I got to go out shopping for a little while by myself. Yeah! Then we had Mexican food for dinner and it was topped off with dessert at Culvers. The reason the day was so perfect was the fact that we got to spend the whole day enjoying each other and having fun as a family.

Wrestlemania

This event happens pretty regularly at our house. The sanctioned fights take place roughly twice a week in the evenings with the returning champions being Hudson and Cameron defend their title against the bigger and scragglier Dan. Sometimes the match becomes hardcore when Hudson and Cameron find golf clubs and swords to defend their title. The tag team, even though small, are very strong and scrappy and have yet to lose.

Labor Day Weekend

For Labor Day we planned on going to Tulsa to visit Dan's family. Before the trip I decided to clean the van out a little bit before we left and had the boys in the van helping me. While I was cleaning, the boys must have been pushing some buttons and left something on unknown to me and Dan. Once we got the car loaded up and the boys strapped in, we try to start the car to go and couldn't get it started. The battery was dead. We quickly moved everything in the second garage to pull Dan's car in to jump the battery. We got it working, drove to the gas station and headed on our way. We drove nonstop til we got to Atoka about the halfway point. We stopped to get snacks and use the restroom. When we got back to the car, the battery was dead again. Luckily a man was nice enough to jump the car for us. It took it a little while to get it started and we weren't going to stop until we go to Aunt Betty's house at this point. Once we go to Okmulgee, about 30+ minutes from Tulsa, the car starts to loose power whenever it becomes idle. So every time Dan got to a stop light he had to throw it in neutral and gun it. When we got to Tulsa, we never stopped for fear of our car dying. Luckily Uncle Bruce is super handy and took Dan immediately to get a battery and replaced it for us and the van was as good as new.

After barely safely making it there, we enjoyed the time we were going to have with family. We ate dinner with everyone on Friday night. On Saturday we woke up early and went to the Tulsa zoo. It was suppose to rain that day, but it ended up being absolutely perfect. The boys had so much fun running around and looking at all the animals. Cameron and I got to ride a camel named Sarah. Surprisingly, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, just bumpy. I think it was a toss up between the camel ride, train ride, and the carousel for Cameron's favorite thing. Hands down the carousel ride was Hudson's favorite. He had gotten tired of looking at animals and almost fell asleep, but as soon as he got on the shark he woke right up and had a blast. The boys both crashed before we made it back to the freeway. They were wiped out from all the fun.

That evening we got together to eat again and attempted to take pictures of the boys with grandmom and granddad. Needless to stay we tried again on Sunday to make sure we got a good one. I believe Papa Curt got a good one at http://www.danbecky.com/. On Sunday we spent the day with Betty, Bruce, Lauren and Alex just relaxing and going to church. It was nice not having to rush right home after worship services. On Monday morning we got up and met grandmom, granddad, grammy and papa for breakfast. Cameron order french toast and ate almost all of it because he had whip cream to dip it in. After breakfast we headed on our way back to Betty and Bruce's where the boys were surprised with a travel bag of goodies to take with them. They loved it. After saying good byes we ventured on our way home. This time we made it without any hitches. For more pictures of our trip check the upcoming folder on the left, yes I'll update the albums asap. =)

Park Playdate

The first Thursday in September we had our playdate at the Kid's Kastle. The boys had so much fun with all of their friends from church. Hudson really loved playing this time. He's favorite part was the bridge. He would run across it and jump up and down. Cameron's favorite part was finding a spiderman ring that he wore the rest of the time. After playing we went to eat with Emma and Mrs. Cam. The boys had so much fun spending the day with their friends.
