Daddy was able to sneak away from work one day to head to Legoland with us. The boys have been begging to go for months, Dan included! We got to see how Legos are made. We rode through a cave shooting trolls, I think. The boys built a car and raced it. Meredith played in brick size duplos. The boys' favorite part was the 4D movie. The reason it was their favorite part was because we got wet!

Bluebonnets

Every year we head to Grapevine to take pictures. I took a ton myself for presents for the fam. They always turn out so cute if you can get the kids to focus for 2 seconds. This year, the flowers weren't very good due to all the hail storms. However, Heather from Chunky Monkey Photography was able to get a few good shots of them.
Easter Continued...
After the Easter Egg Scramble, we went home to dye eggs. The boys loved getting to dip/drop the eggs in the dye. Their daddy is so good with them when we do all the festive activities. Easter weekend we had some family come see us. Betty, Bruce, Alex and Lauren came over on Saturday to have an Easter Egg Hunt. After finding lots of eggs and stuffing their faces full of candy, the kids wanted to go play ate the park. We all had lots of fun spending the weekend together. We even went over to church with them on Sunday. What a great Easter weekend!
April has been busy!
Lots of t-ball. 2 games a week! One during the week and one every Saturday. Can't imagine how my mom did it with 4 kids.

We have redone the front flower bed. Dan ripped everything out and we planted new shrubs and laid stone. After that we sodded in front of it and have to continually water it so it will take root. The boys have found this to be their new favorite place to play because the sprinkler is always running.
Meredith turned 10 months old this month. She is starting to take steps. She has no fear so she gets right back up and tries again. She's a climber too. She will climb into window sills and stand and in chairs and stand up too. She is also very sneaky. Dan has nicknamed her the bandit because she will steal the boys toys while they aren't looking.
On April 16th, after Cameron's game we went to eat at Arby's. Then we were off to the Easter egg scramble. The boys got to be on the smae field. We barely made it in time before the firetruck blew their horns. As soon as they did, the kids were off to get candy and eggs as quickly as possible. The boys came home with a loot. Meredith was not happy about having to stay in the stroller till it was over. She wanted to get down and hunt too.
March in a Nutshell!
Cameron has continued to practice t-ball and we have all enjoyed watching and getting to play at the park.
Meredith has started pulling up and walking along furniture. She turned 9 months old. She's starting to talk more. She weighs over 20 pounds and is about 28 in. tall.
My parents got to come in town to visit. One of the days, nana and I took the kids to the arboretum and saw all of the castles. The kids had so much fun.

Cameron had his first t-ball game. He had quite a cheering section between both families. He was the lead off batter and when he hit the ball he started running to third. He had never done that in practice. I guess it was the pressure of the game. It was so much fun getting to see him play!

What a month!
Glad it's over! I'm talking about both February and March. I started this post in February and didn't come back till April to finish it. To say that it's been rough would be an understatement, but we've come out of it stronger. Dan lost his job unexpectedly in February. Being the great man that he is, he found a new job and has already been working for a couple a weeks. We are so thankful that God has blessed us. We are truly thankful for "His ways." He knows better than we could ever what is really best for us. We would really appreciate the continued prayers that he continues to watch over us and take care of us like no other can.

Meredith is growing like a weed. She is all over the place and into everything. She doesn't like hearing the word "no" but is a smart cookie and understands what it means and will stop what she's doing after flashing a grin. She is definitely becoming more interactive and fun to play with. The boys are taking more of an interest in her now. She follows them around the house. She particularly loves to play Buzz with Hudson. It's hard to believe that she's getting so close to her first birthday!

Snow Fever!
One whole week of staying in the house. This is quite a long time to stay trapped indoors with 3 kids. By day two, we were all driving each other crazy. The snow was beautiful and definitely a once in a lifetime thing, but we were ready for it to be melted by the end of the week. The snow was perfect for playing in and even making snow cream. The best part of it was the snow ball fights. To see some of the pictures of our fun times in the snow, check out www.danbecky.com. Pictures are up of some of the fun in the 2011 album "Let it Snow."
Meeting Sweet Olivia
Finding the right words, might fail me, but I want to start first by thanking the many, many people that have offered their sympathy, love, kind words, and prayers for the entire family during this time. It's amazing to be part of the Christian family. The love and support you've shown Josh, Jenny, Emma, and Olivia has been overwhelming and abundant. This time is very bittersweet and unimaginable to most. We rejoice in the healthy arrival of little Olivia and our excited about what the future holds for her. We also mourn in the loss of our dear sweet Hannah, but because we have the hope of salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord we know we will meet her again. A passage that I have held close to my heart this past week is I Thess. 4:13-18. I find comfort in knowing when the Lord comes back we will meet her "in the clouds." (vs. 17)

Baseball
Meredith enjoyed watching and cheering her brother's on.
Snow Day
January 9th we saw our first snow of the winter season. It wasn't a lot, but it was enough to get out and play in for a minute or two. Of course this was a first for Meredith. She liked being outside with all of us, but she's not a big fan of the cold. I don't blame her, neither am I. The boys loved it! They had a snowball fight with their daddy. After the boys demolished their dad, they came inside soaked to the bone (at least Hudson was) ready to drink hot chocolate and eat popcorn.

Another Year
So I'm another year older! I don't feel like I'm 31 until I look at my 3 kids and see them sitting in the backseats of the minivan. Yes, I'm officially now pretty much a soccer mom (at least soon to be). For my birthday, the boys and Dan threw me a tangled party. They gave me some earrings and a watch. Cameron did a great job picking them out. I'm truly blessed for every minute in every year that I have with my wonderful family.
Christmas Round 3
On Christmas Day, we drove to Houston. Yes we are crazy! After lunch, we packed up and left. It actually only took 4 hours to get there because we didn't have to make any stops. We drove to Jacob and Jenna's house and everyone was already there waiting on us to start Round 3!! After we got a little food in our tummies, we started by opening our stockings first. Then we started digging into the gifts.
The boys love getting more presents. It was so good for them to get to play with their cousin. The same weekend we also got to go over to Uncle Josh and Aunt Jenny's house to play and take family pictures. The boys were sad when they left because they loved playing with everyone so much.
