I survived!

I made it through my first week alone with the two boys. We managed pretty well on our own despite the fact that Cameron was sick all week. It helped alot having meals already prepared or brought to us. This week should be a bigger challenge. It's VBS this week and I plan on attempting to take both boys by myself.

Brotherly love

We can only hope the love fest continues throughout the rest of their lives, but in reality we know it won't last forever. Let's just hope it last long enough to give Hudson a fighting chance. Until then, they're pretty cute.

We've created a monster!

Tonight after dinner, Dan asked Cameron if he wanted some ice cream. Since I eat ice cream quite frequently, Cameron is very familiar with it. We often get ice cream from a place called Culvers. As soon as Dan asked Cameron if he wanted any, he shouted "IC" and ran off. He came back with Dan's flip flops. He then put them on Dan's feet and said "Let's go" and took off for the garage door. Of course, Cameron went with him to Culvers and was so excited to bring ice cream home to all of us.

Cousins

On June 20, 2008 Cameron and Hudson's first cousin was born, Emma Grace. Dan and I became an aunt and uncle for the first time and hopefully not the last. Anyway, Emma and Hudson are only 12 days apart so hopefully they'll grow up being close especially since we have had several comments on how much they look alike. We just wish that we all lived closer to each other.

Hudson is here!

Hudson was born a little before 8:00 am on July 2, 2008. He weighed 7lb11oz and was over 20 inches long. Both mom and baby are doing fine. One Day to Go!

Tomorrow is the big day so that means no more food after midnight. AKA, I'm going to pig out all the way up to going to bed since I won't be eating for at least a day. Hudson Taylor should be here early in the morning! Keep the prayers coming that the C-section goes well and Cameron loves his new little brother. Hopefully he'll be sweeter to his real baby compared to the ones his been playing with.
