Baseball

So I signed Cameron up for tee-ball last week and to get him ready for playing we have been practicing a little. By little, I mean usually about 10 minutes at a time. That's about the longest the sport has held his attention so I hope it goes better for his first practice. We've been playing in the backyard using the gloves and batting apparatus they got for Christmas from nana and papa. The boys I think are more interested in the music the batting machine makes than actually hitting the ball. They do get a little better each time and by the time his first game roles around I hope he'll actually run to right base, first.

Meredith enjoyed watching and cheering her brother's on.

Snow Day

January 9th we saw our first snow of the winter season. It wasn't a lot, but it was enough to get out and play in for a minute or two. Of course this was a first for Meredith. She liked being outside with all of us, but she's not a big fan of the cold. I don't blame her, neither am I. The boys loved it! They had a snowball fight with their daddy. After the boys demolished their dad, they came inside soaked to the bone (at least Hudson was) ready to drink hot chocolate and eat popcorn.

7 months old

So on 1/11/11, Meredith is 7 months old. She is getting so big so quickly. She is doing whatever she can to keep up with her brothers. She runs around the house in her walker. She is starting to crawl. She is mimicking sounds now to form words. Of course "momma" was her first word! She is chowing down on food and getting her first two teeth (the better to eat the food with!) She is learning something new everyday and it's simply amazing to watch!

Another Year

So I'm another year older! I don't feel like I'm 31 until I look at my 3 kids and see them sitting in the backseats of the minivan. Yes, I'm officially now pretty much a soccer mom (at least soon to be). For my birthday, the boys and Dan threw me a tangled party. They gave me some earrings and a watch. Cameron did a great job picking them out. I'm truly blessed for every minute in every year that I have with my wonderful family.

Christmas Round 3

On Christmas Day, we drove to Houston. Yes we are crazy! After lunch, we packed up and left. It actually only took 4 hours to get there because we didn't have to make any stops. We drove to Jacob and Jenna's house and everyone was already there waiting on us to start Round 3!! After we got a little food in our tummies, we started by opening our stockings first. Then we started digging into the gifts.

The boys love getting more presents. It was so good for them to get to play with their cousin. The same weekend we also got to go over to Uncle Josh and Aunt Jenny's house to play and take family pictures. The boys were sad when they left because they loved playing with everyone so much.

Christmas Round 2

Round 2!!! Christmas Morning and despite the yucky weather Santa visited our house! Santa left his presents in front of the tree for the kids to find. There were so many presents for the boys to open. Meredith was just interested in chewing on the bows. The boys were so excited to open everything and start playing with them immediately. The Toy Story Landfill and the Dragon castle were a huge hit. The boys loved everything and Meredith loved her tea set. It was so fun to watch the boys open and enjoy the presents now that they really are into Christmas!

**I'll try to upload an album this week!**

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve morning, we all got up and went to Chick-fil-a for breakfast. It was perfect for all of us. I didn't have to cook and the boys got to play and have fun. We had the whole place to ourselves and enjoyed every minute of it. The rest of the day we spent getting ready for Santa's coming. We read the Night Before Christmas and left a cupcake and eggnog for Santa. As soon as the boys went to bed, the eggnog was gone.
